International Women’s Day | The Iranian Women’s Rights Movement with Yasmine Aker

Today I am sharing what is easily my favorite conversation, with the incredible activist, actress, and singer, Yasmine Aker. I have been following the uprising and protests in Iran since the murder of Mahasa Amini a little over a month prior to the airing of this episode. The Iranian women, youth, and LGBTQ+ community are risking their lives for a chance at the liberties and freedoms that we have today.
