My kitchen used to talk to me, too. </p> <p>And that bitch was <em>loud</em>.</p> <p>Some days, I swore if I could just rip it out of my house, I'd stop overeating. But your kitchen isn't the problem. It's just where you <em>end up</em> after something inside you gets triggered.</p> <p>If you're not hungry but still find yourself drawn to the kitchen like a moth to a flame, you're probably bored, looking for a break, or trying to take the edge off some feeling you haven't even named yet.</p> <p>So, no, the kitchen isn't your enemy.
