Its designers hope the tiny machine will have medical uses one day.</p><p>美国科学家研制出了一种比跳蚤还小的3D遥控机器人。它的设计者希望这个小机器有一天能用于医疗。</p><p>The minuscule robot created by scientists at Northwestern University is shaped like a crab and is built using a special alloy that can take different shapes depending on the temperature.</p><p>美国西北大学的科学家们创造的这个微型机器人外形酷似一只螃蟹，它是用一种特殊合金制造的，可以根据温度的不同而呈现不同的形状。</p><p>The diminutive machine can crawl, walk, turn and jump, and is able to move at speeds of up to nearly half its body length per second.</p><p>这台小巧的机器能爬、能走、能转、能跳，移动速度可达每秒近一半身长。</p><p>The microbot’s movement is controlled with the help of a laser.
