I used to feel nothing but fear of vast tracts of forest.

For me, forests seem to have strong, irresistible power, putting a person in an extremely lonely place.

Once you get lost in the forest, you can be forever trapped in that place.

I know that people belong to nature after all, but I just can't find myself comfortable in the forest before.

However, I'm not so scared this time.

Recent years, I become to realize that the source of fear is the misunderstanding of self and so-called "positive" things.

We're afraid of losing "positive" things so much that we forget the fact that there is no such good or bad meanings of the all the existence.

Loneliness, is not so fearful to me anymore.

For the first time, I live in the forest with peaceful spirit and nothing to fear.

The air was so fresh that my lungs began to dance, and it is so quiet in the forest that you could only hear the sound of flowing water flowing, falling leaves and the birds.

At dusk, the sunset glory fills all the mountains and forests around. It's like a painting created by nature.

Because of music, some moments of epiphany on the journey haven't been forgotten by me for a long time.

The first night I stayed in the Mountain, I totally fell in love with the background music played by the restaurant.

I like them so much that I record the songs one after another in my memos.

I cherish the music that is beautiful and touching. It becomes a habit for me to carefully collect them.

When I hear these melodies again, I see the quiet dusk, I remember the taste of fresh bamboo sprout, and even the fragrance of the bamboo forest in the air. The reaction of human sense is like a magic show.

The next day, I stayed in another hotel. It seemed that the housekeeper really like Cantonese songs. He played Jacky Cheung's songs over and over again throughout the evening, and sang along with it a little bit.

I think my homesickness is probably due to the filter effect of music again.

That night, I extremely wanted to go back to the bars in Guangzhou, to see the performance of the singers and bands.

The next morning, another song list with exotic style like the song "Million Years Ago", was played by the housekeeper, which seems to convey the idea that their song list is the same as their indoor style, a combination of Eastern and Western culture.

Later, when I looked back to the song list I collected on this journey, I found that several songs were about the theme of life, death and human nature.

Once a person is put in nature, he becomes a innocent infant. We don't need to find the meaning of life anymore, because we are in the underlying structure of meaning.

We are no longer afraid of death, because we know that death is the ultimate way to return to nature.

City life tear people apart day by day, while I tried to piece myself together day by day, only to get an inveracious patchwork of self. It is especially awkward in nature.

How come that we always know ourselves from mirror images?

How come that we always avoid the truth and accept the superficial things?

Although fake things can make people happy, otherwise Lin wouldn't complain about the bitterness of the natural cigarette.

However, pain is the background of life, only when we bear the weight of pain can we obtain essential value of life.

All the fake things will dissipate in the early morning mist, and disappear in the mountain.
