Oftentimes, it is the latter that wears away our tenure in this world.<br><br>However, for Guo Gangtang, a former tractor driver in East China's Shandong Province, a considerable portion of his life, some 16 years, was devoted to a nationwide search for his missing son. He probably would have lived an uneventful but happier life if his son wasn't kidnapped, but who is to say his 400,000-kilometre journey on motorcycle was meaningless?
