<p>In the first half of the 2018 World Cup Semi-Final, England were 1-0 up against Croatia courtesy of a Kieran Trippier free kick. They were in complete control of the game. In the 30th minute, Harry Kane was played through on goal by Jesse Lingard. He had Sterling to his right but he decided to take on the shot which was saved. It was a moment that came back to haunt England as Croatia won the game 2-1, breaking English hearts.
