Sucker Punch finally gave us our long-awaited look at Ghost of Yotei in action, and while it’s certainly looking like a gorgeous successor to Tsushima that’ll put the PS5 through its paces, it’s hard not to compare it to one of this year’s other big open-world samurai game, Assassin’s Creed Shadows. While there will definitely be some familiar themes, gameplay, and visuals, Yotei looks to have plenty of touches to set itself apart. Meanwhile, there’s clearly some anticipation for Yotei, because someone leaked footage of the game recorded through a window of Sucker Punch’s offices, and really, that’s probably a new low for leaks.
