<p>This episode first aired on August 14, 2023. In Part 1 of Dorothy Goroshko’s story, you heard about her life from her sons, John and Rick. Their childhood was difficult even before Dorothy disappeared and grew even more complicated afterward. Despite Dorothy’s faults, Rick is determined to find her, and John believes he deserves answers. They lost their mother at a critical time in their lives and were left to wonder whether she had chosen to abandon them or if something tragic had happened. Neither possibility brought any comfort.
